$99
| MrT-Tar said: I'm expecting a $279-299 WiiU price point. Also, when it mentions about hoping the original F-Zero comes to the Virtual Console, I'm assuming this is a 6 year old article, as the game has been on the VC since the Wii's launch (or at least it was in the U.K). |
Then how would it have mention of the Wii U?
Nintendo- one of the only companies unaffected by inflation!
Anyway, Wii U will be between $299 and $399, most likely

I assumed you added the first two paragraphs, but after reading the source, you're right. I still suspect it has largely been copied and pasted from a similar article just after the Wii's launch price/games were announced.

Nes, N64 and Wii are such legendary consoles.
Both changed gaming and made new standards.
| BasilZero said: Wow thought the SNES was more expensive ;p Anyways, I think the system will be about $299.99. $249.99 would be a ideal price especially against the competition. |
199 would be even better.

The Megadrive/Genesis was the better system.

It was a revamp over the NES concept. Just Like the Wii U is to the Wii. Not properly a game changer.
NES was a new complete shift compared to the Atari. N64 introduced beastly 3D graphics for its time and also analog and rumble. And of course, Mario 64, the first of it's kind..
As for the Wii, I'm sure everyone knows what that console brought that was copied to death.

I disagree. The SNES was pretty much an upscale NES but the Wii U is an entirely new gaming concept all around.
The game interfact, no console focus, new controler/control scheme etc.
