I think he is upset with how it was dealt with, not whether it is resolved or not.

I get that and agree it could have been dealt with better. But if it is now resolved there's no need to keep prodding at it.

Did you hear any mod say: we won't handle it that way again?

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

I agree and disagree.  There isnt any issues and that much should be dropped.  But the mods shouldnt handle things like that again.

posted at exactly the same time as mine

That is enough for me, I rest my case.

1. Non-Issue
2.  Did he complain about spam?  I thought he just said to drop it because he changed the name and he didnt feel it was necessary to have two games on the list that are almost identical.  Seece asked him to stop on numerous occasions until he had enough.
3.  I like TBone but yes he should have dropped it.  It wasnt a big deal and im not entirely sure why this is even being brought up in the mod thread or why you are complaining about it.

We already had this out to the 'nth degree on my wall, an interaction you've clearly ignored when drafting this post.

As already discussed I was the only Mod online when the infraction occured.  Prior to your commenting on my wall I had already refered the matter to Mod chat for review.

Once tbone returns - if he feels there is an issue - I will be happy to discuss the private interactions we had that you've (seemingly deliberately?) failed to acknowledge played a major role in your post, even though you're aware of them. Indeed, much of what you've posted about was ultimately irrelevant in the decision to ban tbone.

But see, that's the problem I have with this. As I understand it, that private interaction with tbone happened after most posts in the thread had already been posted. At that point tbone is already boiling due to the refusal of making a correction in the thread, and then along comes a mod to tell him that he is wrong and has to drop it. Then he's so upset that he posts on Seece's wall and that does him in.

Isn't that how it happened?

How he ever got to this point is something I'll never understand. I wouldn't have added the "for Wii U" either.

"We'll toss the dice however they fall,
And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

Check out MyAnimeList and my Game Collection. Owner of the 5 millionth post.

Stop whining Rol, there was no correction to be made, the game (smash) is what you want it to be, either version. Thus no correction to be made. I corrected the acutal mistakes. Tbone was actually banned for continuing it on my wall after he was told by a mod to drop it, as you clearly failed to read Starcrafts post. You and a few others seem incredibly desperate to retaliate against me for whatever you can cling on too.

Also, don't really get where Nintendo fans are coming from tbh. I've never harrassed or wound up tbone, it's not really my fault that Nintendo fans get annoyed at my on topic sales threads, that's your fault entirely.

Also, I reported you spurge, don't flamebait me and come out with crap about me pushing people until they get banned, I told tbone to drop it in my thread but he continued, then he continued on my wall, I shouldn't have to put up with that.

Since the two issues I brought up haven't been addressed yet by the mod team, I have to assume that my assumptions for why tbone got banned are correct, hence no rebuttal, but rather hope that the issue is simply forgotten about. That's not classy.

Someone creates a thread, Seece in this case, with a list of games that he wants people to vote down or up. Another user (tbone) comes into thread and says OP has to correct a perceived (by tbone) mistake, OP answers that one game from that franchise is enough and it is quite clear that SSB Wii U is what the OP aims for, the absolute lack of handheld titles in the list should also be a dead give-away. OP repeats several times that the title stays, the other user somehow takes this personally and keeps pushing the same point across six different posts (incl the original). OP tells him to lay off and that he will report him if the keeps it up, said user is warned via PM but chooses to write a childish and antagonizing post on the OP's wall and is subsequently banned for 3 measly days.

In summary; Seece makes a perfectly good thread with no ill intentions, tbone comes to tell OP how his post should be phrased, Seece refuses and tells him to lay off the whole subject of an edit. tbone keeps pushing, ignoring both the initial plea of the OP and a warning from a mod, gets banned and another user serves up the following nugget on tbone's wall; "If Seece didn't make it a habit to harass Nintendo fans maybe this ban wouldn't have happened in the first place?" The thread in question has to be really wrought out of shape to be perceived as harassment of any kind of Nintendo fans, including tbone.

I really, really, really don't see the issue here. You've brought up other issues that are real and important but this is a petty trifle if I ever saw one. I strongly believe what I wrote earlier; that we shouldn't take into account the fact that users should be more thick-skinned, when we consider moderations, but in this case there was no attempt at riling anyone up.

Thanks Mummel, glad to see another mod agreeing with me. I'll tell you what the issue is. A select few Nintendo fans do not like my on topic Nintendo sales threads, thus they think this gives them a right to shit my threads up because I've antagonised them? It's weak.

Rol is another one it seems, can't believe I thought he would have made a good mod ;p

Because he's hyped for the new Super Smash Bros. games.

And that excuses his behavior how?
