Its not really a trap. Its asking people to not be, for lack of a better phrase, pains in the butts.

There really is no need to post in the thread when the OP has said not to, no matter how the OP has asked. Doesnt matter if the OP says post = ban or if its just straight up asking. The thread itself is generally not yet a topic, so any post in said thread could be counted up as spam (as well as being a pain in the arse). Its basically just going out of your way to ruin what the OP is trying to do. Its annoying. It needs to be stamped out.

conegamer made a second topic about something, a dude said the thread was duplicated instead of simply locking it he spend the time editing it and the 2 posts, a dude goes there and jokes in a ruined thread that was about to get locked already, he didnt ruined anything , its very diferent than the one you posted, in that nintentacle trolls and ruins what the OP had in mind.

now, banning a dude because he replied in a ruined thread its a little bit weird, ban a dude just for that its so fucking wrong. Dude aparently didnt knew the conegamer moderation style i bet he will not do it again.

I think you're mistaking this thread for this thread. One thread is a duplicate thread which I acknowledged and locked, and the other will become the Official Nintendo E3 Conference Thread, which I needed to allocate posts for first and subsequently locked so I can edit them in my own time without fear of someone posting in it (as they did).

Posting in such a thread is ridiculous, particularly when you are explicitly told not to. I may need more than 3 posts (unlikely) so if I need a fourth one I now can't get to it. It's no different to what happened with Salnax and Nintenacle at all. Only difference is I gave fair warning about it.

so he ruined a legit thread you wanted to make right? if that is the case good ban you are right i was confusing the 2 threads. sorry about that.

Correct you are. Easy enough mistake to make (I don't make a lot of threads so to make two, which are consecutive and one after the other are locked is easy enough to cause confusion) but at least it's cleared up now.

I've always wondered, why do we have a NSFW section if basically NSFW content is bannable?

NSFW content isnt bannable, unless its outright porn.

As long as its clear what the thread is about, and the links in the thread are clearly marked as NSFW, then I would have no problem with it. I had no problem with your Bailey thread a while back, for example.

That said, axumblade may have other thoughts on what is/ isnt allowed... So Ill leave this for him to decide.

I have no problem with nintentacle since that is pure spam, but what happend in the case of cones thrread is that by no proper op explaining the reason you set yourself up for trouble.
expecially when threatening with a ban. same thing happend with smeags and his top 300 thread.

I explained myself properly and had no problem geting everyones cooperation and reached the needed 12 posts.

but this is pure abuse
