Im pretty sure youre aware of the problem by now. We've had this conversation before so lets not act like we didnt.   THe moderating has only gotten worst since you and conegamer starting modding.  I like conegamer as a user but as a mod, hardly at all.

You on the other basically mocked a user just above, which by the way is abusing power.  Not saying i agree with that user, but your actions were taunting him seems like the right way of doing things xD Please.

By you refusing to believe anything people says to you when multiple people bring up a situation is denial and nothing more.

Id be willing to be if we posted this problem on VGC more people would be against the mods than the "few" that came in here.  But hey theyll ban you for doing that as well.  We can just look at a thread i made recently where a big number of people didnt agree with how the mods handled something.  INstead of apologizing to the community, they banned me xD  Multiple people comes in here to protest the mods on Pezus's ban (which seems to be a rare occurence in a thread that is mostly inactive) yet again the mods ignore the issue people are having.

If we aren't posting on VGC right now, where are we posting? And I could apply the same logic from my last post to your thread. I mean, you've seen it yourself when it comes to the Xbox One. I've seen you yourself claim that more people came into Xbox One threads to post negative opinions than to actually show enthusiasm or share information about the topic. You make a thread about the mods, if people don't have complaints they don't really get involved. Those that will, will spread negativity. Or do you want me to believe this logic only applies to threads that benefit your point of view?

I get where the mods were coming from. I personally wouldn't want to be labelled a Nazi, or say - have my business or house identified as an oppressive regime of genocide and greed. Frankly, I can't even imagine how one can liken the mods to be corrupted by power or genocide or greed. They seem to gain nothing but grief and headache from trying to improve things around here, they aren't really killing anyone, and their sole purpose is serving the community to make this a better place for those of us who actually want to discuss things. There's a way to bring that criticism to them. Likening them or the site function to the Nazi regime is not it.

For example, I think stealth trolling is a big issue here. I don't post much but I lurk a lot. My suggestion to the mod team would be to develop a tool that lets them keep tabs on specific posts from specific users that borderline break certain rules. Then when there's enough of a basis to moderate (someone constantly posting inflammatory pictures and reaction gifs - could be for flaming or spamming) they ban with all those examples to back up the act. If you feel new mods are being overzealous, you don't come charging in here stamping your feet like "WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON!?!?!?! MODS OUT OF CONTROLLOLOLOLOLLL! INCOMPETENT!" In a place of real business that would have you out on your ass in no time. You come in here and say "Hey guys, I think this ban was out of hand - here's why. And I think this mod in specific is being a bit too strict with this rule (citing examples)." The mods are human too. They'll make mistakes and they want to learn from them. That's why this thread exists. But if you think antagonizing them or calling them out offensively is going to help in any way... well... enjoy your bans.

Ive brought of stealth trolling with the mods a year ago.  I was very active about that as well.  NOthing happened, mods let it go.  THey banned stage once and stopped after that. Its like the threads that mentions the clouds.  No discussion, mostly humorlous troll jokes.  Or we can look at the recent gears thread. oh my was that a mess xD

And hey, me carl and coneG has had conversations in PM about this by now.  This is hardly the first instance that this has been brought up.  I just find it amusing that people are disagreeing in numbers yet we deny there is a problem.  Seems logical to me.  Enjoy my bans?  Not really breaking the rules.  If they want me to come in this thread, so im here.  Maybe i should just point all of vgc in this direction so people can really tell them if they agree or not.  Hell as i said, my last thread about a mod situation people disagreed with how it was handled.  I get banned, no apology, no nothing from the mods.

That thread youre talking about

http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=181508

I count 8 posts there that agree with his ban/ threads being locked. The majority agreed with the moderation. TruckOSaurus explained why those things happened.

5 disagree with it.

Those numbers dont include yourself.

You were banned for ignoring the rules. Hell, Ill post the ban reason here.

Other (From the site rules: (If you have a problem with a moderator, send that moderator a private message, and if you are still dissatisfied, send a private message to Axumblade, the Lead Moderator. If you are banned and cannot login, email mods@vgchartz.com with your issue and you will get a response from the Lead Moderator. Do not post these issues in the forums, outside of moderator-sanctioned threads, or on the moderators wall - doing so may result in moderation action against you.) That, combined with calling a moderator's moderation "pathetic" on a users' wall, was definitely not needed. You're not respecting the mod process and how we do things (and we do take these things seriously), so take a day off and understand that this is not how you can positively affect a moderation that you don't agree with. The entire mod team has done our best to answer questions and deal in the fairest way possible with anyone who has questions, but at the end of the day you broke the rules knowingly. See you tomorrow.)

No, Im aware of your problem. Other people, as can be seen by the activity in this thread, know that this is the place to discuss moderations.

Who am I mocking/ taunting?

Im not refusing to believe anything people say. Im refusing to believe that the majority of users who frequent our forums do so from the main page, rather than from the Forums tab. Im not going over this again with you, Jay. Like it or lump it. You use this thread or the other designated means for mod criticism, questions and so on.

Well keep working with them. The way I see it, they're the only ones that can do anything about it and are the ones trying to do things about it. It's like a city. Cops are out there patrolling and they're the ones with the power to correct something if they see something against the law. That doesn't unburden you as a citizen from reporting what you see and keeping them in on what's going on. Telling them they're doing shit isn't going to help. Work with them, build up proof yourself of stealth trollers. Send it to them. Point them to those threads saying they've devolved beyond a point of discussion. I see it too. As I said, I lurk a lot. I just report those posts and move on. But maybe I'll take my own advice and build up bulk proof before sending it off now.

You seemed to break the rules according to the post above by making a thread to blast the mods and their actions when it's clearly written to keep that sort of criticism to this thread and messages. You didn't come here right away, only after they banned you for breaking that rule - and so you came in with a chip on your shoulder. Go on and bring everyone that can possibly help to read this discussion. I hope they can come in here and try to help improve this place. But doing it by riling them up and then bringing them in is of no use at all. I'm not denying there's a problem. I'm against the way many here seem to want to "correct" it. It's not constructive in any way and it's only going to make this situation worse - but I was a fool to expect anything better from a gaming community. This is the same community that recycles angst and hatred towards each other for the span of decades for business decisions and strategies that they'll never understand fully. I also don't think the mods owe you a thing when you broke the rules clearly and got banned for it and had the thread locked.

Your thread was made in reaction to a perceived injustice. You got all up in arms over a situation that you didn't have the full picture of. Once, the complete situation was explained, you even said you retracted the thread. I'm sure that the tbone event could have been handled in a better way when it came to communicating the reasons why threads were locked and why he ended up getting banned but the way you handled the situation was not the right way to go about it, which is why you got yourself a ban. Imagine the mess it would cause if everyone who perceived something as unfair went ahead and created threads denouncing the situation.

Even then, the numbers are meaningless. Your "big number of people" equates to ~ 5 users. A few of which said that they didnt even know the full details of why the threads were locked.

No, that isnt mocking.

Read the above.  Thread was about should it have been locked, not if TBone should have been banned.  To which there was  a lot of conufusion about since A.  COneGamer explained to nobody why it was being locked and why TBone got banned.  B.  Mr Khan flat out lied about why it was being locked http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=6216615

Trucks was the only one to come out and give the actual reason to then i asked for the thread to be locked.  |

PS I looked at the thread myself.  6 people were confused or disagreed with it being locked.  3 people thought it deserved to be.  The first few people thought i was talking about the ban, not the thread

As far as it looked, you all are the one to have made a mistake (Not you exactly) yet the only ones that gets punished is the users?  Seems fair.  At most shouldve been a warning.  Could i have handled it better, yeah.  But then again the mods could have as well, thoiugh only one party gets punished.  Not really so fair.

Either way that isnt why im in here, that was just an example.  IM in here because you guys are banning people for almost no reason.  There is way worst things going on at VGC that you all do nothing about but when someone criticises one of you all, here comes the hammer.  How about when a user gets criticised?  Oh right, that is allowed.  Its just when a ban gets criticised publiscly is when people gets banned.  If you all want to know if you all are doing a a good job then allow people to say if they agree or disagree with someone.  That isnt making a thread, that is simply saying, hey, i disagree with this
