I completely agree with that.
That wasn't really ban worthy.
Cone is a great guy and all, but this wasn't deserved.

I dont want to get rid of him, nor do I consider him unwanted.  I still think conegamer is a great pick for a mod.  However, I kind of think he was a bit unprepared for the job.  This isnt the first time that he has jumped to a ban on a questionable call.  

My suggestion is more like bringing him back to cover training that he missed.  Especially if he is going to be the one covering a large portion of the moderations.  He just needs to look at it from different perspectives and like I said I think that is easier to do if you arent actually looking at your own choices.  

Edit: for example, carl didnt agree with his call here, but conegamer will have a harder time seeing carls perspective on the matter because he has already made up his mind and so his thinking will probably be in full defensive mode over his actions.

If some of the other moderators think it was the wrong call then shouldn't you un ban Padib? I mean obviously there is different thoughts on the situation, I'd like to know what the other mods think. But if more mods think it was the wrong call, then un-ban Padib; you know progressive moderating.

Its being discussed bit by bit.

Different timezones etc means these things sometimes take a day or two!

I had my share of questionable bans when I started, and everything turned out fine in the end - just let Cone make his decisions, and don't break the rules so there is no chance of ending up on the wrong side of a lengthy ban.

But were you doing the majority of the moderations when you were making questionable bans?

You guys should just overturn Padib's ban and not even tell ConeyG. It wouldn't be the first time something like this has happened.

No it was set to end like next week. I thought the same at first because of the 8 that was the day, but it's the month.
