As far as im aware there was plenty of people against you on Pezus's original ban that led to another ban that eventually led him to leave the site. Peopl argued it but you all were cool with that ignoring what people said and why they were against it.

The first ban, this one, was for continuing the "Mod" discussion outside of the designated areas. The post he quoted had a warning which he ignored. I still to this day dont see why this ban was such a big problem.
The post he quoted had a direct warning to not carry on the mod discussion, yet he removed it and carried it on anyway. He didnt have a leg to stand on.
The second ban was for the same thing, only this time it was on his wall. He really had no proper argument here, he broke the rule and the moderator(s) who handled it decided to hit him with a day ban each time. Even after all of this, pezus did come back. He was under an alt called Ninsect. Also wouldnt be surprised if Ninsect's sudden disappearence was met by a new alt, this time with its tracks hidden.

Not too long ago there was plenty of people with your all's actions to a thread that people love. You all are very aware of that one. You all decided to make rules as you all went because you all did not agree with me and something i said IN THIS THREAD so decided to take it to that thread and threaten to shut it down.

I dont fully understand what you are saying here, but Im gonna go ahead and guess this is about the whole Xbox Empire thread moderating thing. Not my area.
From what I can remember though, this was all sorted out and you all came to an agreement. There has been no problem since, right?

More so there was plenty of people that were upset with the mods to where i was talking about it for them. Yes, for them because i told everybody if anybody will get banned i will take it. Which is why i was considered the hobbit guy. Big inside joke.

I see this as a problem.
We dont want one spokesperson for the "masses", we want the masses to be heard. If people have serious complaints or questions then they need to bring them here directly, not through a 3rd party.

I have no comment on the whole Conegamer thing, as Im not in the know. That ones for axumblade to answer to.

Ive seen posts like the one i quoted above. Its nitpicky. There is so many comments similar to it that dosnt get moderated. Now this is where leverage comes in. Because he has a history he is more likely to get banned. If a user has a history like rol they are less likely to get banned. Its all based on history rather than basd off rules. Stealth trolling. God, lets just talk about users rather than posts in this comment. THough i guarantee you all know what users id list Would you prefer me to mak long comments like this that wont get addressed but rather explained further to why you all did what you all did? Because that is the exact kind of responses that i and most other people will always recieve

With bans, yeah. History comes into it. Who they are comes into it. Who the people are matters for example, because of specific relationships users have with eachother. You and Hynad would be banned for calling eachother idiots. You and Ryuu96 on the other hand wouldnt be moderated because you are friends. We know there is nothing malicious intended. The same would be said for a lot of users regarding a lot of different things.
No one user gets special treatment. Nobody is above the ruleset, including the mod team. Its all about context. The users history has to be taken into account. Not just the post history, but relationships with other users and behaviour on the site in general.
The rule set is at the core of all moderations, but common sense has to come into it too. A users history simply has to be looked at. I mean, its right there in the rule set - "Because new users have not yet shown a commitment to civil discourse, moderators will look more harshly upon them (and upon prolific rule-breakers) than established users with relatively clear moderation histories. If you are a long-time member of the site, it is easy to tell the difference between a light-hearted, humorous post, and a genuine piece of flamebait."

I prefer long comments with substance to the vague complaints. They are worth so much more for both parties understanding of the situation.
