The matter with you being unbanned, really, should have been left with a note on your mod record, then it would only have been for a day had the record called for it. That one's on Axum.

The key is we became friends after we became mods. I really didn't know much about a lot of the team until i joined up (or they joined after i did). Mostly just Smeags i was really tight with (though i like to think i was a deciding factor in getting Kresnik on board )

He's taunting CGW; look at his reactions in this thread over the past couple days and then imagine the possible reaction from this comment. Saying you reported another user in the forums really does add nothing and we've had several cases in the past where users have been warned or banned for the same thing. 

Actually I've disagreed with several moderations whilst I've been a moderator and also had other mods disagree with me. But that's good, as the whole job would be easy (and we wouldn't need as big a mod team) if we all agreed all the time. The point is to get a variety of different viewpoints and come to an agreement at the end of it, something I feel like we achieve at least 95% of the time. 

Similarly I could only really say that Smeags and Krezzy were my "friends" on this site before I became a moderator, though I can't say that's the case now. Having said that, if one of those two (or another mod) did something that I disagree with or feel is wrong, then I will say so. Heck a couple days ago I disagreed with Axum and how he slipped up by not putting in a mod note about the overruled ban, hence giving CGW a ban which was unjust in length. We have disagreements but given what we're doing that's natural, which we can then discuss and debate so everyone receives fair and just action. So at the end of the day, the community benefits at the end of it.

Not what im saying.  Im saying that you all disregard the community and just use each other instead, which more likely than not will agree with each other.   Now i cant speak for th community 4 years ago but since ive visited this site activley iv become one of the most active people on this site.  And from day 1 ive continued to see the same results.  A lot of bans are nitpicky, some people do have more leverage than others, continued stealth trolling from users is still rampant,  and on occasions ive even seen mods make rules up as they go along.  

When it all comes down to it you all can do whatever you all want.  Youre leaders of the community without any real leadership.  All we can do is question you guys, but in the end we really dont have much say as the past has proven.

Well, we're still members of the community. Bans aren't nitpicky and no users have leverage over others, it's all a matter of following the rules and moderating people who break them. Ofcourse users have a say in what happens and what we do, we listen to the feedback and I at the very least take things onboard when examples are pointed out and I can learn from these mistakes (something I feel I have done). 

You know, this would be much easier if you could, say, provide examples of moderations which you have problems with. Else it's just guesswork on our part and you just criticising for the sake of it, and how can we improve with that? The answer to that should be clear.

EDIT - Seeing your latest post makes me believe that this is indeed targeted at a certain user and perhaps a certain post. So if you provide examples then this would be highly useful!

Obviously im replying to somebody as you can see in my posts above but youre more than welcome to make a sarcastic/condesending remark :)   But yes there is problems with the mods and im certainly not going to lie about that just to make you all feel better. I absolutely have no faith you all will fix them
