Skyward Sword Sold 3.42 December(early) last year.....

How does it say 3.38 IN AUGUST ON VGCHARTS?

Has to be undertracked by a good number.

Thoughts?

Those are shipping numbers.
But, i still  think it´s undertracked.

Nintendo's sales numbers represent how many units shipped to retailers, it is not representive of how many consumers actually purchased the game.

Vgchartz tries to estimate how many consumers have actually purchased the game. It's likey that the game has yet to sell past its inital shipment.

This is furhter confirmed with Iwata's statements about how Skyward Sword didn't meet their sales expectations.

I'm an advocate for motion controls, Nintendo, and Kicking freaking Toad to the Moon!

3DS Friend Code - 0860-3269-1286

Kinda sad. I mean, it isn't without its bland moments, but the game is still very solid and one of the better games released in a while.

Maybe Nintendo should try shocking people, get some media controversy attention.

CNN Lady: "Parents have been crying foul over a recent Nintendo game, The Legend of Zelda Wii U for featuring scenes of grim violence. In the game, the protagonist Link is conscripted into the army of the fictional kingdom of Hyrule, he is then captured by the forces of Ganon and is tortured for weeks in an extended cutscene that esteemed child psychologist Linda Fervet has called "deeply disturbing and harmful to a child's moral cognitive development." The once spritely adventurer Link then acquires a warped sense of justice that leads him to exact bloody revenge on both Ganon and the people under his control including women and children. Befitting his new murderous ways the game designers have replaced Link's innocuous weapons with a new arsenal of deadly tools of torture, including a flamethrower like device that shoots flesh eating beetles. A recent lawsuit filed against Nintendo of America is expected to fizzle."

That sounds like a carnage fest in your typical "hardzcorezzz" game that child from 13 to 16 tend to love, because they are badasses and they smoke hiding from their parents who pay for their school, console, iphone and vacations in south. And weed.

Sounds like a trashy game that appeals to violence as the main selling point, and that type of games usually is hard to sell and scores something like 6 or 7 out of ten.

Skyward Sword is a fine game. It is just short and easy. I could beat the game under 60 hours...

Skyward Sword was an on/off game for many. At first I couldnt stand it but gave it a second chance and grew to love it. Sad to see the sales so low though.

Haha that was hilarious hulkwasright!!

Nintendo could always bundle SS with a WiiU, or another accessory to increase sales... It's good game, it really is!

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.
