Lots of times when we take my child to a doctor or open house at school, they ask "Which one of you does she live with?"

I have no idea how to respond to that.

It's too bad that people use the word "racist" so much these days. Buddy was just trying to be nice and offer his seat. So quck to accuse people of being racist.

Maybe he wasn't 'sensitive' about it. Maybe it was such an extraordinary experience from the guy's life that he can remmember it for a very long time. It happens to everyone of us



Yay!!!

Yeah, embarrassing situations like this happen. Like when I saw a dude/woman and couldn't make up my mind if I should call it a sir or a ma'am so I kept going back and forth. It never corrected me but I still felt bad about it.

The akwardness eludes me. It's just a small misunderstanding, I can't imagine them being offended in any way.
