HalF of the movie will involve sneaking in boxes and smoking. The other half leaves you going what the hell did I just watch ? I expect it to be corny and confusing and to star MarK Walburg.

Battle: LA the movie was produced and distributed by Columbia Pictures and the home video was released by Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. Battle : LA the game was published by Konami on Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360 (XBLA), PlayStation 3 (PSN,) Cloud (OnLive).
Sony Pictures and movie to game rights are a lot different from Sony 1st party games. Konami probably partnered with Columbia Pictures for the movie but that doesn't stop the game from going as multiplatform as MGR:R. |

I know. I just wanted to point out that example for anyone who might think Columbia Pictures MGS = Sony exclusive tie in game.
Well, finally a decent announcement. New (next gen?) open world MGS. I hope we get a leaked vido or something soon.
No troll is too much for me to handle. I rehabilitate trolls, I train people. I am the Troll Whisperer.
A MGS movie would just be horrible.
There is just waaaaay to much to explain unless you cut out nearly everything important to the games and just make it a fairly generic spy action movie.
They'd be better off making it a TV series/cartoon.

Not just horrible, but also redundant.
Open world MGS? Snake's Creed, LOLOL.
So, who wants to guess at the director?
Uwe Boll or Paul W. S. Anderson?
