I think that a younger team (well, less experient with 2D Mario anyways) would have come up with some new, fresh ideas for the series. They could really have tried something new!

It was a younger, different team that made NSMB2. The veterans are working on NSMBU.

Yes, I know, and that's why I think they had a great opportunity to make something new and fresh. They wouldn't have been held back by their old experiences with developing the game and could have gone a different way with it.

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

Thank you everyone for posting here (and in my first thread)!

I think the one thing that the next 2D Mario needs to continue evolving is online multiplayer but sadly, I don't think that NSMB U is going to have online multiplayer. But things might change by the end of the year.

Yes, that's ONE thing they should add! but I really think it's time to move on from the "New"-series and create something else. Just look at SMB and SMB3 (or SMBJ2 and SMB3) - they're worlds apart! The series evolved.

Yes, that and stop recycling the same worlds AND ditch that fucking 'wah wah' music while they´re at it :)
