I've seen a lot of positive remarks about these games, are they worth a purchase as they are both about to be released in Europe?

Zack & wiki looks pretty sweet, but MOH in mine opinion is just meh.
So if had to pick out of the 2 then Zack & wiki is my choice.

MOH2 has pretty good multiplayer functionality. If you aren't planning on playing online, I'd skip it. The game has 2 things about it that make no sense,

1. You can't jump... WTF?
2. The arcade mode is only single player. How much trouble would it have been to have 2 people shooting at once. Elebits pulled it off, why can't MOH2?

From what I've heard, Zack and Wiki is definitely worth it. I hear Medal of Honor has even better controls than Metroid Prime 3, so I'd say it's worth picking up as well. Dunno about the story or any thing.

but, both games are worth a purchase. Medal of honor has great online modes. Also, Zak and Wiki is fun and challenging. I'm picking up Zak and Wiki from my friend. I bought Moh:h2 6 days ago.

If you own a Wii, you should own Zack and Wiki. It's that simple.

If you like FPS's, MOH2 is the way to go.
