Whenever I hear something like: "X is creating amazing value..." my first thought is, "No price cut is coming!".  A new PS3 at a lower price does hold promise of better bang for the buck though, but still it is more of "pile up more and more features".

I just think the person has been indoctrinated ala Mass Effect but swap the reapers for pathetic transparent Sony PR. Swap the husks for even stupider people.

Yeah I'm thinking of getting PS+ but I have a Netflix subscription already and I don't want a bunch of subscriptions piling up.

I may go on a crazy movie marathon then switch.

I've been enjoying PSN+ happily since it was introduced. My PS3 has certainly collected much attention from myself since then. I'm definitely looking forward for more.

So true! The latest addition to the instant game collection (Red Dead Redemption) even has me contemplating getting PSN plus. My only hesitation is due to slow download speeds which is really shitty considering these games are 8gb+ plus downloads.

They're all lying, download speeds are fine, i seem to be getting 1.5MB/s max from a 3MB/s connection

That may be fine for you but I can understand if someone else wouldn't be happy with that. I've got a 100/100 connection so If I get a 1.5 MB/s download speed I'm not happy at all. On Steam I usually get 10 MB/s download speeds. That's a lot closer to my max speed than 1.5 is to 3 max.

Wow, you get 100 mbps download and 100 mbps upload?  Pretty amazing connection you have there.  Where do you live? South Korea?  I only get 20 mbps download and 2 mbps upload for 50 dollars a month (Austin, TX).

Thanks guys for answering my question about PS+.

The Netherlands, I can even get 200/200 if I want but that's 80 euro's a month extra. They raised the speeds last may to keep prices competitive. That was alright with me. :)

I would get banned here if I compare my Ps3 downloading speed to other platforms becuase its just too dang horrid.

But Ive been enjoying Ps+ despite the grueling download speeds. i think its good value.

Yay!!!
