lol... probably it is but I wouldn't eat it, it's not worth the risk. LCD screens have mercury; verdigris and some metallic oxides are toxic...

I wouldn't eat the rice but I am glad your 3DS dried out. My parents used rice a few times when they got their phones / ereaders wet. Talking about indestructible Nintendo products check this video out..

The lcd screens don't even look cracked. It pretty much just looks like the hinge was cracked off due to them setting it up like that before they ran it over.
