I have Arkham Asylum for the PS3 but have not play it yet, so I was in no hurry to but Arkham City as I was sure that there was going to be a GOTY edition. Now I think I will buy the Wii U version instead of the PS3 one, maybe around spring next year when I buy the console itself.

I will definitely get the game on launch. I've been waiting for the Game of the Year edition on PS3 but with the Wii U getting extra content and hopefully better graphics I decided to wait for the Wii U version of the game. Being able to play it on the tablet while watching TV is also a huge plus to me. I always play 3DS / PSP while watching TV and often decide against playing PS3 or Wii because I can't watch TV and play simultaneously.

I'm waiting for the U SKU because it's going to have v-synch enabled. The DLC is an added bonus, I hate screen tearing.

You told me nothing I didn't know. I said versions on the market. That meant including the GOTY edition.

I thought I was explicitly clear that I was talking about the new things added to the Wii U version that are not present in the current on the market versions in both posts. What about that was difficult to understand?

You can get any other version for its current prices and then buy all of the DLC and it still will not have all that this game has to offer. 

 

Thats what you said, but you dont have to buy DLC, so that entire sentence is wrong. And whatever is extra on Wii U version wont be available on the other ones anyway

Yes, That is what I'm said. Nothing is wrong about it. I'm sure Ubisoft they will eventually realease the new content because they won't more money.

They said it themselves that they aren not married to Nintendo. Its just like Trine 2 Directors Cut. They only announced the enhancement for the Wii U but they are bringing them to the PC as well as DLC. It will come Standard on the WIi U howerver.

It is very likely that there will be a least one more DLC for Arkham CIty.

LOL, Ubisoft doesnt even publish Batman and what does Trine2 have to do with anything? Completly different company.

Yeah i doubt they'll be more DLC, but lets say your right. It wont be like PS360 users are really getting the shaft, it'll still be pretty cheap.


Oh yes. I forogt with the onslaught of comparisons. Well, not like it makes much difference. There is still more content to come.

Why not get the best performing, best looking version with the most content?

When did i say NOT to get it?? Have you been reading the thread.

I have already played it on PS3 and PC so right now it is unlikely that i wil buy the WiiU-version

If I hadn't, then this chain of post wouldn't have started. The post I originally commented on was one of your mean attempts to dissuade people people from getting the Wii U version.

If you want the true "best" version of it buy the PC version for 20 dollars at Costco and buy the doc for 10-15 dollars.I'm guessing that you are not really interested in the best version rather a justification to buy a new system but compensating for a dry launch. If the launch has you that worried you should wait for better games to launch for it.

i wouldnt go so far to say that. Most of these guys here were getting Wii U at launch Batman or not, they are just going to add this to their library, i dont see an issue with that.

Nope. Won't buy it for me, since I already have it for the 360. Though this don't mean I won't buy it for my cousins if they get a Wii U.
