Haven't read any new posts because I don't want spoilers from the Japan event. But the nintendo.com/wiiu page says it has content inappropriate for children. M rated games incoming. Third parties on board? My body is so ready it isn't even funny.

Are you guys counting down for what ?

the New York event will get a strem ?

Is it the Japanese Direct or Nintendo Direct ?

I'm a bit off on all this, I'm sorry.

The New York event, a Japanese Nintendo Direct, and a European Nintendo Direct are all happening AT ONCE in about half an hour.

We're expecting some news.

oh wow. maybe the american one will de the one that showcases the most games.

I like that they have chosen to go with an HDMI cable, instead that going with a composite or components one.

Do we know if the HDMI port of WiiU is 1.3 or 1.4?

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

Wii U at ¥25,000/30,000 excl. tax implies $250/300 U.S., €250/€300 and £200/250 UK. Sounds a bit high to me, no SW incl, only 8GB/32GB

Since when is $250 a lot for a new generation of hardware?

It's 1.4.

Rise and shine, sunshine! Today's the big day!

I wonder if Iwata is in the Esrille cafe there.

This could just be my mind doing too much work, but I believe the Wii U might have something really special going on with its OS. Does anybody remember this Google Code project by Nintendo employees to create a component operating system? The project's preamble mentions that the project is maintained by Esrille. If you click that link, you will arrive at a website for a Cafe, of all things - and its logo contains that same happy "e" as found in the logo for the ES OS.

This probably begs more questions than it answers, but at least the "Project Cafe" name now makes more sense.

WHERE IS MY KORORINPA 3

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.
