I'm guessing mid-September myself, but remember that we're right on line for a new Nintendo Direct as well.

So we have a very good chance of having a ND announcement... this week actually. Maybe it'll fall on my birthday (August 24th).

Correct me of I'm wrong, but Nintendo usually does a press conference 1 week before the Tokyo Game Show, don't they?

And this year's TGS starts in 1 month, the 20th of September. Maybe they will wait until then so 3rd parties can show the games during the expo.
