Just so you guys are aware stores only being allocated 8 - 12 consoles at launch so once our pre-orders go live you better do it immediatly or your not getting one.

The stories about Nintendo having manufactoring difficulties are true and there will be extremly limited supplies at launch

I'll probably be ordering this on Amazon. Not sure if I'm going to be picking it up at launch though. I've never gotten a special edition console before (because I don't buy duplicates), and since I'm not all that crazy about getting the Wii U at launch, I might wait for some special edition console, or at least a cool bundle.

Now that I think of it, I think special edition platforms have only historically been handhelds... hm, I'll just wait for a cool bundle then.

I don't doubt his numbers (BenV's proven a reliable source on this kind of thing) i mean how do *i* guarantee that i get one. 8's a small number to say that of the hundred-thousand-odd people living within my gamestop's area, i become one of the 8-12 that gets a Wii U day one.

Folks, do you really think that Gamestop would do WiiU preorders on the same day that Madden releases?

And 8-12 per store would mean that the allocation would almost be used "in house" (by employees). That would mean only 50-60k WiiUs for the entire chain in the US.

That doesn't sound good. I will be first in line to get the a pre order. Also 8 consoles are per store would mean disaster. I would have to drive out of state just to get one.

OT:I'm definetly going to get a pre order especially from what I heard from above. Last time I didn't pre order I was lucky to get the last bundle for skyward sword. This will be my first pre order.
