"There is another rumor that is going around the web that reference to the Wii U. The rumor is saying that Gamestop will be taking pre-orders for the Wii U starting on the 28th of August and will be ranging from 50 to 100 for the pre-order. I can't decide if I want get my Wii U at the Best Buy where I got my launch Wii where we had over 200+ people show up for a only 120 stock Wii.

or

Just preorder the Wii U and wait in a probably 50 person line with only 30 stock at a Gamestop.

I'll get the Wii U at Gamestop this time for a change. I bought the Wii at Best Buy and it was jam packed! It might go either way thou. Who knows. Even Target got jumped at launch.

Perhaps i'll pounce. Any jobs i'll get won't take me so far away from my home that i couldn't make a weekend venture to buy the Wii U at launch.

Yeah, but if you pre-order you don't have to wait in line.  That's why pre-ordering is much easier and more convenient than just waiting in line hoping that there are enough.  GameStop will hold your Wii U for 48 hours after launch before they give it to someone else.

Knowing me I'll probably go 1-2 hours early.

I can't function at my apartment before console releases.....

Happened to me with the Wii launch, tho going in line 6 hours before they opened the doors helped. ;p

I'll just be playing some B/W 2 and talkin to fellow gamers to pass the time then.

Target is a national chain store in the USA.  Kind of like Walmart and Kmart.

I know what Target is... ;p

It's just the Targets in my area usually don't do midnight launches.  Plus they are usually low in stock cause...well....its target.
