I'm buying a PS3 purely for this game.

(Well, the God of War saga and the thought of replaying the Uncharteds helps a little). But this is the one that makes it inevitable that I'll be buying a PS3 by my birthday :D

Is it terrible that I've still yet to play a single God Of War game? D:

On a side note, your finally buying a PS3! I remember you telling me a couple years back you we're planning on buying one, so safe to say, its about damn time! I have to admit though, I haven't touched my PS3 aside from using it for Netflix in quite some time now, been pretty deep into PC gaming ever since I built my Gaming Rig.

Anywhos, looking forward to eventually seeing you on the good ol PSN! And playing Ni no Kuni no less!

Not terrible, no. Depends on your tastes. I like them because I've always been a fan of mythology and plus, I don't often get the chance to be an angry, capable man.

Yeah hopefully my bf can sort me out with one through his work for relatively low cost, then all I need to worry abvout are the games themselves. But I think the UK release of Ni No Kuri is the day before or the day after my birthday :D

Well its not that I'm not interested! Just never got around to the series :P And you don't? What a shame!

Hopefully we'll see a pricedrop for you in the near future! Looking forward to playing some games with you when you finally get around to it!

I NEED some JRPGs, and in fact I will buy Ni no Kuni as soon as it will be available, because it seems a really amazing JRPG; but I'm not liking the art style in general. Yes, the game looks gorgeous, but I would prefer a FFXIII style. This feels too kiddy.

You call yourself a Ghibli fan and you had not heard of this yet?
Never mind me, I'm just jealous, I've already been waiting for years already for this to be released in the west.

I'm a decently big anime fan in general, but considering I've seen My Neighbor Totoro, Kiki's Delivery Service, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, Howls Moving Castle, Tales from Earthsea, Ponyo, and most recently saw The Secret World Of Arrietty in theaters even, I'm fairly ashamed to say the least !_! Not sure how this slipped by my radar at all!

Sounds like you need to watch Nausicaa

Yep, Nausicaa is a must. And also Laputa, Porco Rosso and Grave of the Fireflies are missing.

Argh that looks beautiful, must stop watching, spoilers! Still 151 days to go.

This game did badly in japan. And i think that is partly because it looks a little childish. It did will on the DS were the audience's age range is a little different.

I do like studio Ghibli, many of their movies were child-friendly but also interesting for grown ups. This one looks a little too much targeted on younger kids.

and i hate the cape.

That has very little to do with it, there are several 'childish' games on PS3 and casual targeted games that have done quite well on PS3.

That said, I do not expect this to sell well at all, but it will be quite enjoyable.
