I should hope so to. I expect nothing less than 1080p native next gen for all games.

I would expect that Nintendo thinks that the average person can't see (much of) a difference, or doesn't care about the difference, between 720p@30fps and 1080p@60fps ... I think this is (mostly) correct as long as there is decent levels of anti aliasing and anisotropic filtering. After all if you've seen games at 720p@30fps with 16xAA and 16xAF you'll realize that they look crystal clear and run very smoothly.

I thought there was some doubt as to whether NSMBU will be launching with the Wii-U.

This kind of stuff.
Good thing for Rayman if that's true, no doubt.

Yeah, they recently changed it from "launch day" to "not too far after after launch". I'm thinking probably first week of December.
"DADDY DADDY WHY I SEE THEM STUNNING"
DADDY: "BECAUSE IT IS RUNNING ON WII U MY SON. HAHAHAH!"
I don't really care if it's in 1080p - I'm getting in regardless!
I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!
Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.
If it really is 1080p that's great, this game sure could utilize that resolution!
Might be a day one buy... if I get the Wii U on day one.
beautiful -- which only proves to me that anyone that ever said at any point that mario wouldn't benefit from HD is complete and utterly full of shit. HD =/= photorealism
1080p would be a nice bonus. Games look a lot better in native resolution.
I'm looking forward to the wiiU, finally a new toy, it's been too long.
