The review system is inconsistent and flawed and should only be used as a general outline of a games quality.

What are you arguing about? I know you love every Sony game so whats the matter? Even if it is the best game ever made even if it is the digital god it is still a dowloadable title. That was everything I said not that it is bad or good.

Metacritic does not give score, it takes the most available score and makes an average score.

This game shouldn't exist, SM3DL should be enough for now and I think this game will just be detrimental to SM3DL's legs

Also NSMBU shouldn't exist. They should have made New Super Mario World

Rayman Origins changed all my expectations and now Mario feels slow. I still enjoy Mario but it doesn't have the synergy between music and gameplay that Rayman Origin has. Most anticipated upcoming game for me is definitely Rayman Legends.

@rolstoppable fair enough, kinda see where you're coming from with the 3d games, Mario 64 hasnt aged well and i was never big on Sunshine, thats just the problem with alot of 3d games in general, newer ones make the older ones look really outdated. The 2d games, not sure i agree. I still think NSMB lacked something, that the old ones had and i played that more than once. I felt it wasnt as challenging, the powerups werent as good and the level design was a good as World or 3, thats just me.

You're right people do play a game once and shelve it, but the thing is these reviewers are on a timeline most of them dont have the luxury of playing a game more than one time. And for most people they simply dont have the time either, im guilty of this, but I dont have the time to sit there and play the same game over and over again. Its not like I was a child i only had a few games at a time anyway, now I have more games than I have time
