not to mention the pay gap is a myth

It's a thing, but there are explanations for it other than "omg, war on womens!" And it almost vanishes when you control for choices like leaving a job to have a kid.

Either way, I'm glad we have finally have a president who stood up and said, "It's unfair that women only make 77 cents on the dollar compared to men. You bitches deserve 82 cents." What a hero.

lol.

also if the pay gap was true, why wouldnt every employer hire only women? i mean they could save 30%!!

it would make zero economic sense to hire men.

There is nothing wrong with corporations or unions spending their money to promote a political candidate or party, after all elected officials can have a huge impact on how successful their business can be. To understand this just consider what SOPA could do to countless online businesses and come up with a good argument why they can't publish ads for candidates who don't support SOPA.

With that said, freedom of speech is an important right that should be granted to corporations and unions but no one should have the right to freedom of anonymous speech ...

As for the comment that "Democrats tell the truth while Republican's lie" ...

But seriously, these billionaires are gonna fuck up America because of their greed and corruption of the political system, they are like Robbing Hood but for rich people!!

Also, they may have more funding with these groups but they are losing this time and the democrats are fighting back with their own ads, it's all a massive mud sling party it seems

It's amazing how Democrats manage to run all those ads without taking money from billionaires and evil corporations.

Have you seen some of them? They pack quite a punch.  Here's a couple i've seen on facebook. They don't need the money to LIE, because they not like republicans

How old are you? From what I've seen in your posts you borrow into the rosy-colored glasses vision of the world of the Frankfurt school and blatantly applaudes everything related to it as a shining beacon of justice against the wicked everything else. At least some other members here who share similar views base it on solid reasoning and opininon instead of swallowing everything thrown at them.

I don't really think Romney would be a good president, probably quite the opposite, but Obama is just as much influenced by corporations like every major politician in the western world in the last 100 years or so. The only difference - in my opinion - is that he sedates people with cheap socialism and empty rhetorics while everything around remains the same or keeps getting worse.

I like to see the world as a happy place, despite all the bullshit going on and all the wrongs out there. i'm a very optimistic person. (17 years old)

we all know Romney would be one of the worst presidents out there if elected, he makes Obama seem decent, even though he's not great himself. It's wrong that business has bought it's way into politics, especially since the end of world war II. I guess I like to think I know more about american politics than I really do.

America isn't completely apathetic yet, but the electoral college system is certainly helping us get there.
