Are you guys stuck in COD graphics or what? It doesn't look that impressive..

you saw it in 1080p on a 1080p screen? i had to stream that for a while with my shitty internet but wohooo that looks awesome! btw i played battlefield 3 on ultra settings and play the witcher 2 with everything except ubersampling right now and not cod

Exactly I dont know why some people in here dont agree

I highly optimized console with 8 core and 6Gigs of RAM with no background noise the PCs have would run this without even breaking a sweat as long as it has a decent GPU

That looks absolutely amazing. The tessellated toad better be in the game as some sort of Easter egg

I was particularly impressed by the displacement maps, so much detail! And tessellation on vegetation?!

Holy shit in HD the trailer is insane

Further proof of just how badly we need new consoles the gap between PC graphics and consoles is becoming huge

Yeah but only a few developers can afford to produce games that look to good for consoles. The need is there, but isn't that huge.I expect new consoles in 2013 but we can't leave out the option that they may just wait until 2014.

What game's this? Looks quite impressive.

I need to get myself a gaming PC. I've been waiting for too long!

Having just played Homefront (Unreal 3) today for the first time in ages, and having become accustomed to Battlefield 3 I've finally seen why most people think Homefront looks terrible. As Crytek are developing Homefront 2, waiting to see the massive technical upgrade that is applied. Should be interesting.

This is good but, I am really not seeing this as a leap over current gen games. If this is all we can expect from next gen consoles, I really hope they continue to support PS3/360, because that is not worth the price of admission.

With the 8 year gap between the 360 and it successor I expect a leap in tech that is larger than any we have ever seen in the console industry. If these rumors of 4GB, and 8 core processors are right, I don't know why we did not see these consoles last christmas.

A console launching next year should have at least 6GB and 12 cores, with 8GB and 16 cores being the sweet spot. It should also have a GPU of near top end specs from this year. If MS and Sony do not step forth, I will be done with the big three. Samsung and apple will send Andriod and iOS device to market that will destroy a cheap half baked next gen console in no time. Plus they will focus on much more open platforms, and much better multi-tasking.

A gpu like that costs $500 this year and it'll still cost $500 next year, so if you honestly want hardware like that in your next console get ready to pay some gwap.

"Oh noes they better not release a console for over $400 I'd be PISSED."

I am willing to pay for a console that shows a leap over this generation. All I can hope for either MS or Sony is willing to put that option out their.
