I saw the trailer. Surely that counts?

The two movies that of the remaining movies that I like the most finished near the top so I'm happy. Those two would be The Green Mile and The Shawshank Redemption. Tom Hanks could have played the lead in both movies but he was busy shooting Forrest Gump so he had to pass on Shawshank.

I am happy Tim Robbins was in Shawshank. Hanks has enough accolades.

Agreed. The film wouldnt of been the same with Hanks.

Actually it was a good choice by Hanks to pass on Shawshank he won a Oscar for Forrest Gump and he still got to work with the director of Shawshank a couple years later in The Green Mile.

My negative vote goes to Dark City.

I am quite content with Groundhog day and Pulp Fiction winning.

That's great, but actually, Groundhog Day was just one point shy of tying with Dark City and Pulp Fiction, so... I guess that makes Pulp Fiction the victor!

It's not official until Spurge says so, though...

Come on Spurge, be honest:  Is that a tasty burger?

That's OK, it's a great movie, deserves it (together with other movies). I'm happy Goldeneye didn't win, for instance.

Overall, I'd say this elimination thread went quite well. The final list is very solid and most of the eliminated movies don't deserve to be at the top. Compared to other elimination threads were the least hated (or most unknown) choices were at the top.

Pulp Fiction is definitely one of the best movies of the 90's, and I am glad that it won over Dark City. How did Dark City get so high?

*Shakes fist at Troll Whisperer for saying that he's glad that GoldenEye didn't win*

So Pulp Fiction has won. Not my cup of coffee but still a very good movie.

I'm happy that Shawshank, Dark City and Groundhog Day finished at the top.
