If there were one, it would have to be Lloyd, since (coincidentally) Symphonia is the only Tales of game I've played (until Graces F comes out in EU). It was like when I saw people listing Rudy (Wild ARMs) as a possible character for PSABR. I love the WA series, and Rudy is a great character, but he's not well known. Then again, I suppose it's not any more obscure than Fat Princess |
They don't have to be super well known for them to be good playable characters. the fire emblem characters became popular because they were included in melee.
I agree, it should be Lloyd Irving. He's the most recongizable Tales character on a Nintendo platform, plus his fighting style is awesome.
Appearances:
Tales of Symphonia (Gamecube/ PS2 only in Japan)
Tales of Symphonia: DotNW (Wii)
Soulcalibur Legends, as a Guest Character (Wii)

Nintendo Network ID: kingofe3
Jade Curtiss would be awesome, but they'll choose a lead character (Cless, Lloyd, Luke) or a girl.
I don't know why I just assumed this was about Tails from Sonic the Hedgehog. I'm retarded this morning, I guess.
