Because we all know how well no support from EA worked out for the last mainstream system without FIFA/Madden ;)

That said, Dreamcast did end up starting off the 2K sports series as a high quality alternative. Sadly in Europe at least they never got a truly serious FIFA rival though.

I really don't see this being real, it just seems too crazy for EA to actually propose this and expect to get it. Although EA's support for the WiiU has been a little cold, its nothing that low.

I wouldn't put this past EA to be honest (and it would explain their recent reactions to Wii-U), but reddit is not a credible source. Anyone can post anything there. In fact, give me 5 minutes and I could post the exact opposite to this rumour on my account to r/games, and then link it here in VGChartz.

An interesting read, but nothing more than that at this point.

Most of them do, and the rest I can get on my PC. So yes, I don't want Origin in control of my Nintendo just for a bunch of multiplats.

Really? Most of those games suck!? wtf!

All minority opinions, and some silly ones on Skate and FIFA. Objectively speaking these are quality games with mostly large fan bases and critical acclaim to prove it.
