But yeah... movies based on video games always seem to be terrible. The original Mortal Kombat was watchable, but that's not exactly glowing praise.

They already tried that with Metroid.  Other M wasn't that good.  It would have been better if they made it similar to Alien.


Actually I had fun with the Mario movie even though it was bad. Same goes for Street Fighter. It was not Jean Claude Van Damme who destroyed it, but the Directors and Raul Julia.

I would love to see Halo, Half-Life, and Fallout as movies. As for Mass Effect I think it would be incredible as a big budget tv series (think Babylon 5 but with much better special effects).
