Distance between DC and Baltimore is only 40 miles, life long Redskins fan but it was good to see the ravens win! Big ups to Jacoby Jones (lol Houston), Ed Reed and Joe Flacco, get yo money!

Ed Reed only has couple more years left to play but Flacco is getting a huge pay raise for sure.

Yeah he is, nothing like having a Super Bowl MVP award in your back pocket at the negotiating table. His response to every offer, "But I'm the Super Bowl MVP!"

I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.

I told you guys that Flacco would get it done.

Oh, and congratulations to insomniac for sucking his way to the title.

A Ravens win means that insomniac17 won the playoffs in the prediction league. So not only did the second class Broncos fan win the regular season, but also the postseason (with a pitiful 4-7 record no less!). Congratulations!

Thanks to everyone for all the backhanded congratulations on my win.

And thanks to Rol for hosting the league. I definitely didn't expect to win anything at all, especially not the whole thing... though as you all said, I did really suck in the playoffs.

well done baltimore, they weren't too old then like people said at the beginning,

it was close in the end then,i fell asleep when the power went out and baltimore had just run 109yds to finish the game i thought

1. Too damn bad I didn't make it to the last round as I would of had Ravens by 3. (see earlier posts of predicting Ravens by small win)

2. Damn that game got good post embarrassing power outage.

3. Niners might have won had the correct call been made on the final pass as it was clearly pass interference, however the game was not one play and niners had many other chances. Ravens simply won.

4. I was very happy to laugh at my friend since he gave me so much shit when Bears lost in 2006. :)

Although the power outage still had one highlight. A German journalist asked a Ravens fan if the 49ers still have a chance. The guy said something along the lines of "We'll cut ****ing Kaepernick's head off." and some more stuff like that before the journalist pulled the microphone away and said: "I think I better do not translate this."

Now that's great television!

it should be said that Denver put up a better fight then the 49ers during the playoffs. Regardless congratulations to Ray for an awesome career and going out on top.

Yes, the one and done Broncos, whose offense did nothing (Holliday!) did better in the playoffs than the 49ers who won 2 games and narrowly lost in the SB. Gotcha.

So did the nfl ever say what happened with that long power outage? It was going on so long I nearly fell asleep.

I was talking specifically against the ravens.

Ray Lewis made a statement by not picking the ball at the start of the game. Flacco is an elite QB now that he set a new playoff record for TDs.

He only tied Montana and Warner with 11 in a single postseason.  Both Flacco and Montana did it with zero interceptions.
