I would say that Tony Dungy built those good Tampa Bay teams.

Yeah Gruden won that Super Bowl with Tony Dungy's players. After he had a few years to put together his own roster, things went South.

Do you guys remeber who Gruden defeated in the Super Bowl? It was the Raiders, the team that he built. What's more, Dungy won the Super Bowl with the Colts who were built by Jim Mora. He also had Peyton Manning at QB. Who did Gruden win the Super Bowl with at QB? That's right, Brad Johnson. Also, Dungy only won his Super Bowl because he went up against his best buddy Lovie Smith, who seemed none too bothered that his team lost because his Bears were going to get back there and win it next year...

Dungy was with Indy for seven years. To say Mora built those teams is ridiculous.
That 2002 Tamby Bay team was so good because they had the top defense in the league that year. That was not Gruden's doing. It was Monte Kiffin. Gruden is an offensive guy.

Was Dungy with the Colts for seven years before he won it? I didn't think so.
You are right about Gruden being an offensive guy though. Brad Johnson had a very good year and this was a main reason that TB won the Super Bowl. Also, he took a terribly inconsistent but talented QB named Rich Gannon and made him into a consistent Pro Bowler earlier in Oakland. The TB defense was great, but they couldn't quite get over the hump until Gruden got there. I would love to see what the Colts with Peyton Manning would've done under Gruden. I suggest that it would've been better than Dungy did.
