They are totally wrong as far as Ratchet and Clank is concerned (of which there were two awesome games this gen), the rest sounds about right. I'd put Final Fantasy in the first place, though.

Nah, Banjo-Kazooie seems like a better choice to me:

1 Banjo-Kazooie N64 1998 Platform Nintendo 1.87 1.13 0.55 0.10 3.65
2 Banjo-Tooie N64 2000 Platform Nintendo 0.82 0.36 0.25 0.06 1.49
3 Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts X360 2008 Platform Microsoft Game Studios 0.30 0.32 0.00 0.08 0.71

1 Duke Nukem: Time to Kill PS 1998 Shooter Take-Two Interactive 0.77 0.54 0.00 0.07 1.38
2 Duke Nukem Forever X360 2011 Shooter Take-Two Interactive 0.44 0.20 0.00 0.07 0.70
3 Duke Nukem: Total Meltdown PS 1997 Shooter GT Interactive 0.34 0.23 0.00 0.04 0.61
4 Duke Nukem Forever PS3 2011 Shooter Take-Two Interactive 0.27 0.22 0.00 0.09 0.58

Lol, Duke Nukem never sold quite well.

At least Banjo-K sold more than 700K for it's most recent.

Ratchet & Clank? How the hell do they figure that one? They gave ACiT an 8.9 and ToD a 9. All 4 One may not be as good as other games in the series, but they still gave it a 7.1. And everything I've heard about Full Frontal Assault has been very positive so far. It isn't as popular as it used to be, but that doesn't mean the games are bad.

Have you watched that GT Countdown video? Not having a go at anyone here of course, but omg.

I decided to watch it to see what reasons they gave for Ratchet & Clank being on the list - since "A Crack in Time" is one of my favourite games of all time, I was really intrigued what reasoning they would give.

The reason was: "All 4 One". Fair enough, a lot of people didn't like it. But in the video he said something along the lines of "It's the same thing that happened with the Spyro series, they handed off to another developer".

So, GT didn't even bother to do any research for this "article" then, since it was made by Insomniac. Uff, bloody idiots.

On topic though, I voted for Final Fantasy. I guess objectively it's probably not fallen as far as some of the others, because the newer games are still pretty decent.

But it's the franchise I was most invested in at the time and so the step backwards from IX -> X and then the further steps in the wrong direction they took with subsequent entries just really, really frustrated me.

I guess if I was being fair, I'd probably vote for Sonic the Hedgehog, because that period in the mid 00's where there was just crap game after crap game was pretty bad.

Keep in mind that the latest Duke title is multiplatform.
