Here is my official review, for your perusal :)

Good review but that's a weird score to give considering you seemed to have loved it.

My game should ship today. Hopefully it doesn't take too long to get it...

By our rating system, a score in the 8's is 'great'. ;)

In that case you don't really give 10s to anything?

8's are the games that have a few noticeable issues but are still extremely high-quality.

9's are among the best the industry has to offer--the ones that other games on their host systems should use as bars to aspire to.  This doesn't mean that they have no issues, but that they're very minor.

10's are perfect games.  Games that literally have nothing that anyone could every possibly complain about.  No game has ever done this, hence why we have never given a game a 10.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

I really want to discuss what went on in KH:3D: first I have a question:

why is Axel or Lea the only organization XIII(that we know of so far) that is acting on his own accord? does that mean all of organization XIII is back along with Xehanort's new found organization XIII? and not only that..he's a keyblade wielder? will he tale Terra's spot as one of the seven keyblade of light? there's Mickey, Sora, Riku, Kairi, Ventus, Aqua(i'm sure she's still alive in the realm of darkness) and Axel?

and I thought castle oblivion was destroyed when Sora and Riku... though it nice to see Ventus still alive(and close to being awake?)

I'm ecstatic that they included the World Ends With You in this game. But Tron? Really? I live action movie?

Games can and should tell stories and share ideas through their mechanics. This is the intrinsic element of the medium and this is how experiences should be crafted in video games. No company does this as well as Nintendo and their echoes from the past.

Dont hate. Watch the Tron animated series and then come back to us.

I loved beeing on the TRON legacy movie with sora and riku. It was the best world for me. :)

Didn't play Kingdom Hearts 2, eh?  It had both Tron and Pirates of the Carribean.

All of the organization members are acting of their own accord.  It's just that all the others are total bastards and want to work for Xehanort.  Axel/Lea wants to protect his best friend, Roxas, who is now basically Sora, so that's why he defected.

As for him wielding a keyblade, my theory, like yours, is that he must be one of the seven wielders of light, though I would replace Kairi with Terra in your list because I think he'll be back.  Axel's backstory has never really been explained, beyond the fact that he lost his heart and has now regained it.  For all we know, in his previous life he was a combatant in the Keyblade war.

Regarding your Castle Oblivion question, that's tougher to come up with an answer for.  Then again, isn't it possible that, like the other worlds in the game, the castle (and world surrounding it) was put to sleep when the Darkness of Ansem/Xehanort's Heartless and Xemnas was purged, and thus reverting, in perpetuity, to its previous state?

hopefully he will be back, as he's my fav character from BBS, but how? didn't terra become who we now call ansem? maybe this new found time travel and sleeping worlds might make him able to come back

my theory on caslte oblivion is kinda like traverse town, a place that can never really be destroyed, where people(well memories) take refuge.

also why didn't Lea fade away like xigbar ans xemnas, Xehanort said that all the previous organization XIII members were vessles.

The game exceeded my expectations, though, I have to admit after 365/2 I didn't expect much. Flowmotion and Reality Shift were great additions as well creating Dream Eaters.

This is now my reason to purchase 3DS XL.

Did you already beat it? Or are you just talking about the demo in your first sentence?

I'm still at The Grid. I'm not trying to rush into beating games anymore. I'm actually enjoying this almost better than KH1. It's a solid, and oddly feel like a new experience.

Just beat the game. It was pretty much all I expected out of a Kingdom Hearts game. That's not really a bad thing though. There are a lot of small but meaningful tweaks and adjustments, and the level design is better than it has been in the past. Hopefully KH3 will bring in some bigger changes, but for now, any KH fan should probably enjoy this one.
