Just as much and just as little as most modern "western" heads of state.

I don't give him credit for getting Bin Laden. It was the result of a process that started on the Bush days, much like the economic situation had its bases laid way before he became the president. Of course it's in the nature of politics to claim the good achievements for yourself and the bad ones for your predecessor.

Personally I think he's simply mediocre like most politicians these days.

Removing nuclear weapons from many countries, including Mexico. Preventing the US from going into a depression.

You think the United States isn't in a depression?

Bush had almost nothing to do with finding Bin Laden. He didn't care about him. The only connection to Bush is that the guy that they got the location of Bin Laden from was in Guantanamo Bay, and didn't give away the location until the Obama administration when they stopped torturing him, and actually talked to him to get the info.

It clearly is not. Look back at how it was during the Great Depression, it was much worse than it is now. You could argue that we are still in a recession, but definitely not a depression.

You seem pretty confident on the inner workings of politics including stuff most people won't ever know what really happened for sure. Either you are a damn liar or dug really deep into this sort of stuff. Since I don't know which of them I'm going to abstain judgement.

Anyways Bush send the guys to Afghanistan in first place and his popularity shot way up with what was perceived as energetic efforts to counter terrorism.

I dug really deep into this stuff lol. I didnt have a problem with Bush going into Afghanistan to try to get Al Qaeda, and find Bin Laden, but shortly after 9/11 Bush got bored and decided to stupidly focus on Iraq instead.

Obama did absolutely nothing to fix the economy. It's just as bad as it was during the Bush days.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

You have official unemployment above 8%, with an additional 8% of the work-force that has "disappeared" from official statistics, and underemployment has skyrocketed since 2008 ... This is certainly worse than any typical recession.
