Tekken characters? Well I did intense research on these Tekken characters and can conclude that it's not wierd to have them. As in they won't feel out of place as I thought Roy and Marth were out of place but I can accept them now. However tekken characters is kinda pushing it. Depends on who they choose. But They do need to get pac man on board that's for sure

I trust that Sakurai will not flood smash with foreign characters, at most he will pick one from each Namco big IPs (1 from probs Tales of Symphonia, 1 from SC, and 1 from Tekken but that's it), or just 1 Namco character like Pacman, and say 1 from tales of Symphonia, or even just pacman or just llyod.from Tales of Symphonia.

Overall this is good news, and I get the sense that Japanese devs are getting annoyed at the spoiled nature of their fans.

Give an example. I mean Roy and Marth wield swords, are you talking about Yoshimitsu or are you actually talking about Soul Calibur?

I would easily see Kilik in Smash Bros. As for Tekken I'd see either Law, Lee or Jin Kadama, and a boxing/kung fu character already in smash is captain falcon, so it's possible.

Their play dynamics would be smash-ized though and would feel very different.

I do not care about characters at this point. I care about the game play and what he is saying is that the next Smash game will indeed be a Smash title and not some hybrid collabo. Good good good!
