I know, and it was actually Alpha. I wanted Final Fantasy...not the terribly outdated and utterly generic standard model. It needs to go away, and it will definitely impede on XIVs success in the long run.

I was playing it, it's fun enough, good looking, and good sounding enough for me to give it a go for a while. However I keep getting kicked out so Imma wait. I'll probably wait to register my full code until a week after or so? That way I get free month from that date.

Yoshida couldn't hold back his tears during the speech he gave for the launch of FFXIV (while he was thanking fans for their devotion and talking about all the game's been through).

I have so much respect for that man..

Seriously this man has a lot of passion for this game. Its good to have a producer/director like that.

I have to say though I'm surprise to see the NA/EU servers full. Its technically a success in a way but I hope they increase the bandwidth and the server capacity soon. I want to play! lol

I want to level up Arcanist, the story is engaging, and most of all, I want to get my Magitek mount lol.

Despite the server issue, the gameplay really shines in my opinion. The game has turn itself around. If you got in to play, whats your thoughts?
