2x360 - 3 GCs + a N64 devided by a DS
well it's good that they are working with Nintendo now at least. Metroid Prime 4 maybe?

Ugh, I hope not. I want middleware to stay out of my 1st party titles.
I like Nintendo for there originality and creativesness. I want them to stay that way. If I wanted games that looked like every other game, I would start buying more stuff for my 360 and PS3.

But Nintendo will of course be leading the team to create it.
I really want a new Metroid Prime :S
Retro should do it though

@bold. That gives me hope for transfer-pack compatibility with GBC games on the virtual console.

Not sure it will affect much. But I do hope a game or two comes of it. Maybe the ball will get rolling and this will be something that makes a splash in the long run but as of right now, I do not see that happening.

We could argue all day, but you won't convince me. I still think that the chances of seen Crysis 3 in WiiU are very, very small. On the other hand, something different like handling a new Metroid (something in which we agree) or what gumby said, or, giving their plans to go free-to-play, an on-line multiplayer FPS game with microtransactions could be feasible. |
Given the situation I would say Warface is probably the only game Crytek would consider bringing to the Wii U themselves.
This talk of Nintendo giving them an IP to work on is ridiculous, "working with Nintendo" does not mean literally "we are making a game with Nintendo". Given the context they are talking with nentendo about the Wii U and possibly bringing something over.

Crytek doesn't have to be the ones to do the porting. I'd actually expect that Crytek UK would do it, since their only "upcoming" game at the moment is Homefront 2, which is merely expected some time between April 2013 and March 2014. As for EA, it's worth remembering two things. One, EA is only publisher, they don't own Crytek (and I'm assuming that Crytek hold the IP rights to the Crysis series), and thus Crytek just needs funds, not permission (since publishing costs for an additional version are minimal at worst). Two, EA loves having their stuff on anything they can put it on. If Crytek were willing to make a Wii U version without spending a lot of money, EA wouldn't say no. |
It says in the interview they are doing the multiplayer for Crysis 3

I'm just wondering what Nintendo could do with them if they worked together? More importantly, how trustworthy are they to handle a Nintendo-like game design? I think giving them Metroid is too big of a risk for a first time partnership, Nintendo wouldn't do that unless it was a collaboration type project like they had with Team Ninja. Even then I think Nintendo are probably wary of having an external team take on Metroid. TimeSplitters 4 Wii U exclusive (even timed exclusive) would be magnificent, and this is definitely something I could see Nintendo get behind. Do Crytek own any other popular IP besides Crysis and TimeSplitters? |
Oh pls, dont make me dream with this pls...
