Just buy it... and then play it

The worst that could happen is you would have an epic good time and want to follow up by finally playing the first game which will be less polished in all areas this new game excels.

Sounds good. If it uses the gamepad well, and looks the best (which it should), then I'll likely get this version!

Alerady preordered through Steam. Enjoyment in 1080p ftw !

I really really loved the first one. During my first playthrough, I found it was nice at first, nothing exceptional, just good. Only by doing it a second and third time did I truly find the game great, for its sheer fun and great replayability value. Of course it borrows from Zelda, God of War, Portal. And it's a good game.
