For those of you with intrest in street fighter, tell me which of all the street fighter games is your favorite and why.

Add in your least liked one if you choose

For me, Street fighter 3rd strike would be my favorite. It took a bold move with a mostly new cast of fighters, and i really appreciate the parry system, which rewards defense. And even though it is a more indepth complex fighter compared to others and even caters more so to the hardcore players, i feel its the true improvement that has yet to be matched.

Least favorite is going to be Street Fighter 4, for reasons i cant quite pinpoint, but it just doesnt have the hype and flare that 2,3 or the alpha series offer. For a game that came many many years after 3rd strike, i dont see why they decided to take a step backwards, in a generation of hardware that could do SO much more. No counter attacks like alpha? no parrying? all in all, sf4 doesnt feel like a deserving upgrade of 3rd strike, but rather the game that should have been before.

Gotta be Kimbo Slice.  Man went from dirt poor to professional fighter.  A Disney movie in the making.

Have to go with street fighter 2 on the Snes. It may have had turbo at the end. I cannot even count all the fighting games I played back then between the NES-N64.

I still remember my friend bringing over sf2 champion edition for the sega, the only move we could do were the rapid buttons, blanka, ehonda and chunli. Good times

SF2: Overall (Mostly for the music though)
SF3: Character Designs
SF Alpha: Gameplay

SF EX was ass and SF4 was disappointing overall.

I am the Playstation Avenger.

Super Street Fighter 2.Classic game. It all became too "samey" after that.

Vanilla Street Fighter 2 on SNES. I've never been hugely into fighting games, but I have fond memories of playing it with my older brother as a kid :)

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

This is a very tough question, but my personal favourite has to be X-men vs Street Fighter. I know people might say "That's not a Street Fighter", but it has its name in it so hah :P. For the "Traditional" Street Fighter, I'm going to have to go with Street Fighter Alpha 3, not the most technical of them (Street Fighter 3+ are), it was the most refined I found. You can do limited air juggles (Except for those hacked infinites), they gave you a choice of 3 fighting styles, and the overall presentation was top notch and only surpassed by Street Fighter 4.
