I lived in New York during 9/11. My mom worked near Ground Zero, and my dad is FDNY. I was lucky though, and didn't lose anyone.

Did you see it as it was happening?

No. I was a 9 year old in Math Class a couple of miles away. The teachers censored any incoming information to prevent a panic, so I didn't even know what had happened until hours later. This was before cell phones were as common, so we were honestly in the dark.

You were 2 years old or something back then, right? Can you remember a time before the War on Terror?

They kept us in the dark about it as well, far away from New York as we are, when i was in 6th grade. The high school kids (7+) all watched it that day, but we were kept out of the loop for similar reasons.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

I live around baltimore City... there is a murder or shooting about once every 15 hours.. it sucks but when the city has no money because all the people moved out its hard to get people to move back in before they get rid of the criminals.
but they can't get rid of the criminals without spending loads of money... which they don't have.

I was 3. So I knew nothing about it. But my brother was 6 so they (my parents) tried to keep the info away from him.

What's War on Terror?

I was in Year 1 / First grade when it happened - my mum told me, but I don't think I understood the significance

Oh, yeah. I don't remember a time when we were never in war.

I have been in bridge bombings before. The first time it was a ruse to kidnap people for use as a hostages. I almost was one of them. The second one, I was only a mile away and saw.. bodies. It really is not that bad a place; you just cannot be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Rebels exists, as well as terrorists who are linked to Al-Qaeda.
Not to mention, there are too many dumbasses around, and weirdos lurking most especially at night.

Anything can happen at any given moment.
