I lived in New York during 9/11. My mom worked near Ground Zero, and my dad is FDNY. I was lucky though, and didn't lose anyone.

Did you see it as it was happening?

No. I was a 9 year old in Math Class a couple of miles away. The teachers censored any incoming information to prevent a panic, so I didn't even know what had happened until hours later. This was before cell phones were as common, so we were honestly in the dark.

You were 2 years old or something back then, right? Can you remember a time before the War on Terror?

They kept us in the dark about it as well, far away from New York as we are, when i was in 6th grade. The high school kids (7+) all watched it that day, but we were kept out of the loop for similar reasons.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
