I only really keep track of Japan sales, where sales are imo not 'respectable', so I'm not sure.  However, I thought it wasn't doing too well anywhere?

Vita's not selling too well, but it's on track to beat X360's and PS3's first years since WW launch.

Granted, the HD consoles didn't exactly set the world on fire at launch, but it means that if Sony support the thing properly it could see the same kind of growth.

Unless you are going all digital or going to use the device for movies/songs etc..4GB will definitely be enough for you for a while at least. I have one and have yet to fill it out. Have quite a few apps plus few digital games as well + bunch of screenshots I have been taking (which I really should post in the official thread lol)

With going digital the good thing is the investment will pay off with time...and also the convenience. Been playing Unit 13 and then started playing MK. Both are fantastic games but I wish I had bought one digitally..would be easier to swap

so fingers crossed..if I see a good deal I might bite and buy a larger card as well

Great deal there. I paid about £340 in total on release day and I still think its been worth it so far. Sony really need to advertise the thing and get it into the hands of consumers.

I've seen it for this much at online retailers quite a few times prior to this deal. I doubt it will boost sales much if at all but since you get a memory card it's a solid deal.

I still believe Gamescom will come with an official price cut. Why else would the Madden and AssCreed bundles be $250 with a 3rd party title & free memory card? That Madden bundle also releases a week or so after Gamescom.
