Forums - Microsoft - Rumour: Microsoft in frame to buy Activision majority share

I don't know why everyone assumes that they have to also be the ones that set up the backbone and get the tv deals. All MS has to do is have there xbox also be a cable box that can be used by Fios, Time Warner, and other cable companies. They don't have to be a supplier of tv channels. I would gladly replace my Fios box (i almost can, they have the channels I watch on the Fios App, but no DVR yet). I would also pay 15.99 a month for it as that whgat it costs me for my current box. Would be even better without a fee though.

Would be interesting to see what Microsoft would do with this.

Odd to see Time Warner up for this as well o.o.

Yea Time Warner will bundle it with there phone and internet. LOL  I would not ever support there games again if time warner bought this.

I would have thought they would bundle it with Warner Bros Interactive, which has been a pretty good publisher so far.
