I agree that a mobile device is competition for a mobile device like PS Vita or 3DS.

I disagree that a mobile device is competition for home consoles.

What kind of home console user will not buy a home console again, because of the iPad or any other tablet?

- Core gamers? No chance.
- Casual gamers who love their Dance Central / Just Dance / Zumba etc? Nope.
- Casual gamers who love to play their Mario Kart with a couple of friends (offline)? Nope. 4 people gathering, everyone equipped with a tablet to game seems unlikely to me.
- Media nerds? Nope. BluRay / DVD, USB ports, great sound and made for the biggest screen in your house still beats it.

I think that gaming as a whole gets richer with these new devices and that is a good thing. It won't replace or ruin home console gaming though.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

As good? Not yet. And changing that will take more than the faith of some vague "gaming investors." The gaming investors which need to be convinced are the major publishers. Either that, or independant developers need to keep making big cash until they grow into the videogame giants of tomorrow.

You mean keep track of iOS game prices? just use http://appshopper.com/
I use it to keep you guys updated for pricedrops of good ios games... Just make an account and you can add games you want to track.. it also has a price history of the games..

Only problem with that is that AppShopper doesn't let you sort by genre. At least, I don't see a way to do it from their web site.

A list of the most popular "RPGs" on the App Store. You need to install iTunes to see the prices, though. iTunes lets you sort by top paid RPG and top grossing RPG, which helps sort the wheat from the chaff.

I threw the quotes around "RPG" because a lot of these games stretch the definition. Developers want their apps to show in as many categories as possible, so every damn game with a leveling system is suddenly an RPG.

Kind of funny reaction while their are already so many RPG's =p. If the games you are playing in your sig are your type of games you will find sure some on IOS you like. Try Chaos Rings as an example :).
