Hah, I called Jin, was Heihachi in the end. Looks GREAT. And a nice reference with that rocket and everybody strapped to it for Heihachi there.

You want colour? We got colour!

lol

I just love how the Killzone super death robot is slowly creeping up on the fighters xD

out of all the possible Tekken Characters they announce Heichachi. Ohh come on he was already in Soul Calibur. King or Paul would be a better choice imo. because the where in all Tekken games as well, and have never been in other games.

Watched that EVO panel they had. It still felt as though Big Daddy's inclusion was poorly justified but I'm liking the effort they're putting into the game. It might also have some decent 1v1 potential with the combos they have going. Downside is though they pretty much came out and said only popular characters will make the cut. Hopefully fans of some more niche characters are vocal enough though I'm almost certain the entire roster is decided and they'll just slowly reveal it all.

Paul would have been a fun one to see, yeah.

King, though, is kind of a different matter.  There have been 2 King's - although everyone would recognise them as they same, they're not actually the same character.  Plus, I wouldn't say he was as recognisable to people as Heihachi, Paul, or Jin/Kazuya.

I mean King, not armor King. King has been one of the first characters and is one of the most popular Tekken characters. I think he is very rogniseable, even much more then Paul

Yep, I know, that's not who I meant.  The original King (from Tekken and Tekken 2) is dead.  The current version (Tekken 3 onwards) is King 2.

Armor King is a completely different character altogether.  There are also 2 Armor Kings.

Ohh come on. That is like Sub-Zero and Tundra, they are the same character just with different stories.

I know, I am being kind of petty about it :P But that's exactly my point.  Why add a less recognisable character with a cloudy history when you could just add Heihachi who has been central to every Tekken game?

Even Paul, as much as I think he's a cool character, has never really been central to the main storyline of Tekken.

As much as I think this rooster sucks overall so far, Toro was a great inclusion. I love that little guy. He also looks to be by far the most fun character to play as out of the ones announced so far.
