I think what's really interesting is that after looking at your My topics page, it looks like you've posted in 95% in all recently created threads.

Except, before I took my short hiatus, around a month ago, there was a huge amount of spam threads** going. I'm not really sure what the landscape is now, since I've only now just ventured out of the politics section. But while Naznatips was mod he took down the amount of spam threads by a lot. We only had one or two at most.

About what Carl said of no one posting in sales threads, it's true. I've opened 3 WW up threads in a row withouth even trying hard (the 1st time the numbers had been added the day before and I had gotten tired of waiting). I tried adding YoY/WoW numbers to all my OPs to make them more interesting (and coz no one does it anymore) and to add the SW as soon as it's available and notify people by changing the thread title and bumping it. I post several times trying to start or keep some conversation. This week I added a fun fact and even offered some cookies to call people's attention and bring them to discuss the numbers. It's still hard to get over 60 posts, at least 5 of which are mine.

What can you do, the numbers are terrible, the first place is set on stone and 360 and PS3 are not gonna swap places for quite some time if at all. I'm hoping the community will be much more active once WiiU releases.

But, the key is; how many of those are news stories? How many of those are gaming related? How many are sales related? This is a sales site. Yet the threads about sales don't garner much interest nowadays.
