Do you remember Person Posting Above You IV and You're Banned? Those are the biggest spam threads I have ever seen. Supermario128 got from 5000 to 10,000 in a month using those. And those have been around since at least 2009.

Except, before I took my short hiatus, around a month ago, there was a huge amount of spam threads** going. I'm not really sure what the landscape is now, since I've only now just ventured out of the politics section. But while Naznatips was mod he took down the amount of spam threads by a lot. We only had one or two at most.
