As for you, yes, I do realize playstyles can be noted. They are not clear representatives of the next game, though, roles change. Scumhunting should be based on the information found in the current thread, and nowhere else.

Are you against using peoples' tells? For example, if I try to read radish based solely on this thread, I'm most likely going to be wrong unless I take into account his past play.

I want everybody to put a vote in place. It means people have to make a stand, even if it's not too serious, even if it's No Lynch (well, not this game ), they still have to put it out there. It also means you can't COMPLETELY lurk.

I'm not voting yet, but if I were to I'd vote for spurge, radish, or the super serial Mario.(And so that there's no misreading that, I mean his serious attitude)

Well, some people throw so much suspicion around it's worthless, or hard to tell who they are MOST suspicious of.  Lurkers hurt the game and also make it harder to scumhunt.  Why are you trying to make excuses for people?  After at least ten rounds of people joining and then deciding they don't actually feel like following the thread (or posting in it) after all, I don't think it's excusable anymore except in cases of unforseeable events like insomniac (or, if I'm misremembering, whoever had the fire near him).

I am not trying to make excuses for anyone. I agree 100% about lurkers and we need to get them talking instead of voting them off. As far as throwing around suspicion, I have named three people so far (one with HoS and two with FoS) so it should be easy to tell who I find most suspicious. Not so sure about others, but like I said, I am treating this game much more serious after getting lynched for being "obnoxious".

On another note, I'm going to Cedar Point and won't be back until tomorrow (Monday).

Nintendo still doomed?

Tells as in when they're lying? I mean, if you got that then go for it.

What I meant though, is that people are gonna play consistently, you know, their playstyle. For example, those who post a little are going to post a little if they're town or mafia. Unless they purposely change that's how it's going to go down.

Let's say stefl played a townie last game. He posted a little, and this game is posting a little as well. Are you going to be more likely to think he's townie? Honestly there's an equal chance of being wrong if you're more likely to think someone's a cdertain faction based on their play. So I prefer putting current game over previous games. It seems like common sense.

Town as in town tells or scum tells, things that point most of the time towards a person being a certain alignment. Certainly this game weighs more than previous ones, but you made it seem like previous ones shouldn't count at all. That'd be the case if everyone was excellent and could perfectly replicate their town play when scum, but it isn't duch.

Also, due to last round I will not be making any joke votes or joke posts at all. It seems that some people can't take a joke, even if it was the first day.

I understand making a change so you're less likely to be lynched. However, why did you announce it?

Tagging! Have fun guys!

HoS SPurge

You cut off the head and the others will crumble.

Was this a joke vote? Considering you're Mr. why so serious.

If it's not, then mind elaborating?

Ha, that wasn't a serious complaint. There's nothing we can do about the spacing of sentences (uness we press shift + enter all the time).

You mean his almost getting his power taken away? I took it as trolling stefl. He clearly knew the rules:

" Lol stefl
I didnt think you would be so quick to see that." ~ prof

Now, if we actually want to go further with this:

1) He's a dick
2) He has no power in the first place, so doing something like that won't have too major consequences
3) He does have a power role, so he's stupid for being a dick and trolling stefl

What else is there to this?

(Note: not actually calling him a dick )

What you see as clearly trolling stefl I see as him up to no good.  After he had his power removed, he still voted against the rule, he also go mad at stefl for mentioning trolling.

As for your reasons,

1. how does that benefit town?
2. just because he has no power doesn't mean someone following his lead will have no power, so how would that stunt benefit town?
while if he was just a mafia goon he could benefit by getting a townie punished.
3. Prof isn't one to do something that stupid, unless he outsmarts himself :P

Well, I'm here, and I want to implement my plan to help speed the game up by stimulating real discussion even though this game has a hard clock.

I want everybody to put a vote in place. It means people have to make a stand, even if it's not too serious, even if it's No Lynch (well, not this game ), they still have to put it out there. It also means you can't COMPLETELY lurk.

If we didn't have a hard clock, yes we'd be in danger of ending the day prematurely, but that would also give valuable intel, and speed up the usually-horrid Day 1 at an acceptable price IMO.

Vote: to let us No Lynch
but seriously
Vote NotStan

I have a feeling he will turn out to be a lurker. So NotStan, get your ass in here and prove me wrong before you get lynched. Everyone else, lynch him

great plan

Vote: Final-Fan

still waiting for you to be stimulating real discussion
