I am more excited for this game than I am for the Wii U version. The coins mechanic should make for a pretty competitive game! Plus the boxart is beautiful;

Yes, very nice.

I hope the case is gold and not standard white.

Need something off Play-Asia? http://www.play-asia.com/

To me that`s a good indicator of how people (still) perceive a Mario game! Also, i`m pretty sure that doesn`t happen with any game.

I hope it will sell 10mil+

Switch!!!

Yes, I will get this game with my 3DS XL. It will be fun.

Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward = best game ever made.

When I get my 3ds, I still haven't decided if I'm going to pick up NSMB 2 or Super Mario 3d land. Such a hard decision. Anyone have any advice?

Both. Can't go wrong with any of them, really. I couldn't decide between them

But OT, this is good "news". 3DS needs a boost and this game along with new hardware is just perfect for it.

Yep your observance is correct. We just put up that big new beautifuk poster in all the new release sections in our stores and for sure its helped spread word of mouth. This holiday should be big for the 3DS

It astounds me that after 2 decades of pretty much every big Mario game selling like hotcakes, someone would be astounded that a new Mario game is generating excitement.

I would get Super Mario 3D Land if you have a tight budget. It's something [more] different than the other 3D Mario's unlike the 2D Series which doesn't change too much.

But, if money doesn't matter then get both!
