I haven't been to a game store in a long time, so while my friend was waiting in a long ass line at starbucks, I decided to just go into gamestop for a quick look. Now I'm not saying this has any indication of the sales, because it could be just a certain type of day, but I swear I saw at least 15 people looking at the coming soon section of the 3DS, seeing New Super Mario Brothers 2 and looking extremly interested. Parents would ask the cashier "when does this come out?" and Kids were begging parents to get them the game.  and keep in mind i was only in there for 10 minutes. It kinda shocked me,  I have a feeling that this is gonna be a huge seller, especially for the holidays

I don't expect anything less from a Mario game.

Of course it'll be a huge seller.

Mario + A Crap Load of Coins = Blockbuster.

Looks like it might be another hit then. I still won't pick it up opening day though.

Supply and demand. Nintendo keeps making a new Mario game, the demand for it will follow. Kind of like Call of Duty, sports, and dancing games, people just wont stop playing them.

The difference is the Mario games does not repeat themself. 

At least until now, there was always something new and i bet the coins are gonna a use very important that everybody will have only to say: OOOOOOOOOOOOOH. XDXDXDXD

I am more excited for this game than I am for the Wii U version. The coins mechanic should make for a pretty competitive game! Plus the boxart is beautiful;

I am excited for this game but bummed out by the fact that (here in Australia at least) the 3ds xl is launching a few days after snmb2...is this the case elsewhere? Seems a bit stupid to me but I guess it wont make a difference in the long run.

I hate Mario but I loved all those golden coins in the E3 presentation. This will probably become my first Mario game (apart from the Mario that was bundled with my N64). Plus my girlfriend loves Mario.
