Yeah... hopefully.
I love the storyline in the Kingdom Hearts games. I think it's fun with a little bit of a dark side to it. Pretty much perfect in my opinion. (Or at least from what I remember of the first 2 on the PS2.)

At the begining of this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Pko6nNeOy0 you can see that in OoT when you press Z the camera goes behind you, but there's a transition that you can notice, in the demo the camera just goes behind, I know its hard to understand without seeing it by yourself, unfortunately I can't find a video that shows what I'm saying.
Why don't you make like a tree and get out of here?

Didn't the other Kingdom Hearts game do that, too? Especially when switching targets? It wouldn't spin the camera around, it would instantly show it. I think I understand why you're feeling discomfort, though. I think it's just something you need to find a way to work around. It was probably done that way in order to make the game less disorienting from the camera moving too quickly. I can't be too sure, but it is a 3D game.
Hopefully some of these camera issues are addressed in the final game in the settings. For me it's perfectly fine, but I can see why some don't like it. I just really like the flow of the combat and the larger worlds.
I, unfournately, already spoiled the story for me. The story is confusing to say the least, but really answers a lot of questions fans have been waiting to here. It also however raises a lot questions as well. If you can follow it through, then you'll really like it. I'm not sure how I can rate it towards other games in the series since I forgot some things, but I can say its got me hyped for Kingdom Hearts 3! That's if it ever comes out!

I only played KH1 and 2 for a few minutes, so I don't remember how was the camera but in BBS it does spin when it goes behind you.

I downloaded the demo but I haven't played it yet. I got the first Kingdom Hearts on PS1 and didn't like it so I never played another game in the series. I love the music, though. I'm gonna give it a shot with and without the CPP just to see if it makes a big difference.
I enjoyed the demo and was quite pleasantly surprised. Still not sure whether I should get the game or not. I've never been into Kingdom Hearts, I played the first game on a friend's PS2 and enjoyed it but that was like... 10 years ago?
On the other hand I'm really looking for a fast paced RPG as I find myself unable to play video games for more than 2 hours a day lately. This looks like a game you can play in short bursts as well (like 30 mins at a time) and it'll be out in late July which coincides nicely with the start of the summer break... to buy or not to buy?
THIS!

I think I'm just going to delete everything. We don't get Swapnotes like we used to, though. I think people have gotten tired of it. |
Switch!!!
Wanna how how well the CPP works with this game? Too bad. It's not supported in the demo. I couldn't test it out.
I downloaded the demo yesterday and gave it a try. This is the portable KH game that I've been waiting for. The graphics are exactly like the PS2 versions (kinda odd, but I guess SE likes keeping a consistent style) and the music is good as always. The remix of Traverse Town song really brings back fond memories of the first game.
The only thing I'm not sure about yet are the changes made to the battle system. It's been increasingly seeming like as far as KH games go, the battle mechanics are heading towards style over substance. The battle system in KH1 is by far my favorite as it required some strategy, but in KH2 and even worse in KH3D it seems to just be a button masher. Maybe later on there will be some more strategy involved, but what ever happened to blocking your opponents attacks and being rewarded experience points for it? In my opinion, the battle system has been taking steps back instead of steps forward.
Regardless, I have the special edition pre-ordered. I can't wait until this releases!
I don't know why people tell me to get a life. I'm a gamer, I have lots of lives!
